The Daltons Village is a serene 60 year old mud house nestled in a pine forest in Tirthan Valley, Kullu Himachal, just a short distance from Banjar Bazaar. Set beside a gentle stream, the homestay offers four cozy rooms, a welcoming kitchen cum dining space, and plenty of open areas. Surrounded by natural pools, hidden waterfalls, and lush trails leading to remote villages and breathtaking viewpoints, it offers an immersive glimpse into authentic Himachali life among farmers, herders, and artisans. It is a place for peace seekers and nature lovers who cherish simple joys, whether it is gathering wild berries, enjoying a crackling bonfire, or taking quiet forest walks. Managed by dedicated Himachali women, the experience comes alive through warm hospitality and meals prepared with locally sourced produce and fresh forest herbs. Although tucked away, the village is reached by a beautiful 10 minute walk through a pine forest from the main road, a hidden gem we cannot wait to share with you.

“The food was incredibly delicious but a bit tough for me, as it was different than what I’m used to, but Ryan was able to adjust the cooking to my personal taste and schedule. He was able to pick up what I liked easily and adjust the daily food to still be very different and creative but perfect for me, which I really appreciated, especially for a month-long stay. My daily spinach came right from around the village – from farm to table! And the water was so clean, you drink directly from the stream! I loved picking the wild mint and making mint tea almost daily…”
